Frida Giannini, creative director, presents her new collection for an 'intellectual stream of exotic women', fusing dazzling colours with tribal-inspired finishing touches.

Frida Giannini, direttore creativo, presenta una collezione per una corrente intellettuale di donne esotiche, fondendo colori abbaglianti con rifiniture di ispirazione tribale.

Who, like me, expected the usual classic neutral colours from Giannini's show was wrong.

This collection is a mix between different styles: the classic equestrian, and a Marrakech inspiration.

"Harem" pants in silk material, and skirts in fulgurant emerald or fuschia, matched with blazers in bright orange or lapis-blue, and camisoles in violet are examples of an exotic touch.

Infact, vivid colour and tribal-inspired beading amalgamate Atzec and Berber influences.

Everyone has been pleasantly shocked by the first outfit, composed by orange blazer, violet tube top, green pants, and gold python belt; the model's hair slicked and her lips a shiny red.

"I pushed the accelerator on the provocation," the designer said.

Gucci' s idea combines fantasy and luxury embellishments.

Having a look on the new items, we'll find: jodhpurs pants, (so trendy this season) proposed in suede material and adorned with handcrafted tassel; fringes, lattice ornaments and metal studds.

Chi, come me, si aspettava i soliti classici colori neutri dallo show di Giannini, aveva torto. La collezione è un mix di stili diversi: il classico equestre e un' ispirazione a Marrakech.

Pantaloni "harem" in seta, gonne di un color esmeraldo e fucsia abbaglianti, combinate a giacche in arancio acceso o blu lapis e sottovesti in violetto sono esempi di un tocco esotico.

In effetti, colori vivaci e decorazioni di ispirazione tribale, amalgano influenze Atzeche e Berbere.

Tutti quanti sono rimasti piacevolmente colpiti dal primo outfit, composto da blazer arancione, top a tubino viola, pantaloni verdi e una cintura pitonata oro; i capelli della modella raccolti indietro e le labbra rosso fiammante.

"Ho pressato l' acceleratore sulla provocazione" ha affermato la designer.

L' idea di Gucci è la fusione di fantasia e lussuosi arricchimenti.                                                Dando uno sguardo ai nuovi capi, troveremo: i pantaloni jodhpurs, (così in voga questa stagione), proposti in camoscio e decorati con nappe artigianali; frange, lavorazioni in lattice e borchie in metallo.

Gucci chose to match its outfits with cage stilettos, golden heels, phyton belts and handbags. 

Gucci ha scelto di abbinare i suoi outfits a tacchi a spillo a gabbia, calzature oro, cinture in pelle di serpente e borse a mano.

BURBERRY PRORSUM spring/summer 2011

Questa nuova collezione fonde armoniosamente due mondi diversi: lo stile motociclista e il balletto.

Nella collezione primavera di Christopher Bailey per Burberry Prorsum, il trench, icona della casa, è ancora presente, spesso particolarizzato da pelle e borchie.

La pelle, infatti, è la protagonista di questa collezione.

This new collection combines in harmony two different words: the biker style and the ballet.

In Christopher Bailey's spring collection for Burberry Prorsum the house's iconic trench is still present, often particularized by leather and studds.

Leather, infact, is the protagonist in this collection.

Il modo più semplice per capire la vena artistica della collezione è osservare ciò che è successo al famoso trench. E' infatti stato rimpicciolito in uno mini con chiusura a cerniera e maniche in stile motociclista, oppure in pelle nera o pitone.

The easiest way to understand the artistic mood of the collection is to observe what's being done to the trench. Here, it was shrunken into a zipped-up mini with biker style sleeves, or in black leather or python.

La ragazza Burberry diventa una bond girl, con una personalità decisa ma comunque femminile.

Qui vediamo il bellissimo abito di seta rosa, che appare quasi essere tenuto insieme da profili di pelle e gli altri abiti progettati da Bailey, che lasciano la schiena della modella pericolosamente scoperta.

Here we can see  low, the beautiful pink silk apron dress that appeareld in place by bands of black leather and the other dresses designed by Bailey which leave the model' s back dangerously naked.

 La collezione è caratterizzata da altri due capi simbolo chiave: mi riferisco ai fuseaux di pelle e ai tacchi altissimi. Aspettiamo frementi la nuova stagione!

During the preview Alexander Wang asked: "Did you notice anything???"

I let you all find it out by your self, what it means.

Did you get it??

There' s no black at all!! In this new collection the common idea is OPTIMISM and there' s light everywhere!

The show started with a series of white outfits, the stylist wanted to transmit clearly his image of purity.

However everything is transformed in modern key, infact the nose pierced models are different symbols of the classic image of purity. That' s because the stylist's mood is create something pure but still interesting, something simple but sophisticated.

You can't be bored by what you' ll see here.

Non è assolutamente presente il colore nero!! In questa nuova collezione l'idea comune è OTTIMISMO e c'è luce in ogni dove.

Lo show è iniziato con una serie di capi bianchi, lo stilista voleva trasmettere chiaramente la sua immagine di purezza.

Tuttavia, il tutto viene trasformato in chiave moderna, in effetti, le modelle 

con il piercing al naso sono simboli "differenti" dell' immagine classica di purezza. Questo, poichè lo stilista era in vena di creare qualcosa di puro ma comunque interessante.

Non potrai essere annoiato da quello che stai per vedere qui.

The collection, anything but usual, is characterized by oversized silk and semi-transparent knits.

Course, jackets and shoes in biker style are always present and the use of  industrial materials like Tyvek is a particular detail. 

La collezione, tutto fuorchè solita, è caratterizzata da gonne oversized e maglie semi-trasparenti.

Naturale, giacchette e calzature in stile motociclista sono sempre presenti è l' utilizzo di materiali industriali come il Tyvec, il dettaglio particolare.

Another original feature was is models' hair painted in white, rubber tube necklace as accessorise, 

coverall straps crisscrossed on the backs of loose.

Un' altra originale caratteristica è il capello delle modello pitturato in vernice bianca, la collana in tubo di gomma utilizzato come accessorio e la tuta attraversata da lacci e cinghie lasciate cadere morbide sul corpo.
